[Grovenet] Fwd: Navy welcomes it's latest ship

I wasn't sure whether the original post was a snide comment against Clinton
or an even more sophisticated snide comment about Bush.
Just taken on its surface it seems to poke fun at Clinton for not spending
more on the military.
But as with all really good double entendres when you think about it, it
makes an even funnier poke on another level. We are into Bush's 6th year yet
the navy is just welcoming its new ship. That means that for the last 6
years Bush has been wasting military dollars on something worthless as well
as useless and he probably overpaid some well connected contractors to do
the job too. Now it has been introduced to the public for all to see the
folly consistent with what Bush is known to do.
I applaud Alan for entertaining all of us regardless of which part of the
red/blue/purple spectrum fits us best.
Just as with Clinton's leaving Bush a military that was able to go when
called it will be up to history experts to sort out which aspects were well
handled and which aspects were not. In the meantime we are left with our
own interpretations of what was and what is now by looking on the suface or
we can look for deeper meanings as well.
