Amen, Bob!
  All the modern inconveniences.  And each of the "bells and whistles" is something else to repair in future.  Or else we throw away the whole thing and buy a new one.   Hmmm, we buy a new whatsis every year, though Grandpa only bought one in his lifetime.  Examples, refrigerators, fans, cars, washing machines......Hey, isn't this a form of inflation???
