I agree in whole!!!! I hope we as Americans can change, cause if we don't; we wont see the best of the best running in either "side"
As to ignoring, well I have MS , I try to ignore it and go on daily but still, yes it bites me in the butt often. I think as a whole if we can't fix it we tend to ignore it, that too needs to change!

I agree Muriel. Since the last election the Republican Party has been clear
that to have any future they had to get President Bush under control. It
seemed to me obvious they did that; that since the last election he has been
reacting to orders from the party leaders to limit the damage he had done,
but it was too little too late. Now his party has lost control of Congress
and the limitations are even greater. It's got to be a bitter pill for him
to swallow.
So what's the purpose of gloating? It's still an open question as to whether
the Democrats, or anyone, can find a better candidate. Smart people, capable
people, don't want to run for President. They know how us Americans treat
them and their families.
I think that, in President Bush, we have a good example of the sort of
President we Americans can expect in the future until we change how we treat
our public officials.

You really think he doesn't know that already? I would not want to be in his
shoes at all.. not even president for a day....... I hope we get the answers
to end all this soon, but I don't think it will be as easy as some might
think so or would like to think so. Don't get me wrong, I am not agreeing
with everything he has done but all this stuff everyday about how he doesn't
know how bad it is over there! where's the balance? He has noted several
times he knows it is rough over there and things are not going well. The
media needs to report oon all sides. Muriel

The current administration has to be spoon fed the news that things are
not going too well in Iraq - - - -
