Thank you for the wonderful post, Michael; we have visited the site many
times since moving here in 2004.

Unfortunately, we have no web design skills to volunteer, but I am just
replying to add my enthusiastic "yes!" to your suggestions, both to revamp
the site and to add local blog links.

I can't think of any suggestions right now, other than possibly a link to a
current weather site, but will be happy to contribute as I can should the
project go ahead.

And thanks to all involved in making the website and this mailing list
possible.

Despite a noticeable lack of maintenance, the Grovenet website has received 
some 93,000 hits over the last five years or so.  If you google "Forest 
Grove," this site will be second on the list.  Clearly it serves as a 
resource for some people.  It's long overdue for an upgrade, at least 
graphically, but my own skills in web design are very limited.  So it would 
be nice to have one or more volunteers, preferably experienced web 
designers, who would take on that task.  Please get in touch with me 
off-list if you're interested.
