[Grovenet] What makes a city livable?

Maybe it is more than just Com vs Cap. Talking with an old commie, he
became quite angry with my statement of how USSR's communists failed. He
insisted that they weren't communist, they were socialist.
Even in a capitalist society, we see forms of communism. Large corps
operate as a form of communism, same as China or Cuba. The employees
don't vote on who their boss is.
I had a friend that worked for Busch Brewing. He could be fired for
pulling an item out of the the hotel fridge that wasn't of the proper
brands.
All city managers get the same pay. Isn't this a form of communism? Did
we vote for or against the wifi?
The old commie? He told me that the problems so far have been
implementation. Not the concept. Maybe that is the same with capitalism.
