[Grovenet] A Sad Passing

I was shocked and saddened to read in today's News Times of the passing of 
Jeff Mulick. You may recall Jeff as a moderate and eloquent contributor to 
Grovenet, a voice of reason and knowledge on many issues.

Jeff was a vital contributor to our school district in many ways.  I first 
met him when we worked together on a bond measure for the schools in 1993 - 
we had been "tilting at the school funding windmills" ever since; fighting 
for stable and predictable budgets for our schools, particularly in the 
technology area (where he was an expert in his own right).  Jeff's true 
passion was youth sports - especially basketball - which he helped establish 
in this community.

My prayers go out to his wife, Vicki and theeir two children, Melissa and 
Nick.  We have lost a fine man and I have lost a good friend.
