If anyone has ever wondered how I got the nick-name of OleHoss ... just
read the url.. especially the part about a big man with a big heart ..
from what I've been able to find out through the years is that "Hoss"
also means BIg Man in the Netherlands langues ..
also, I used to ware a big white Hosstyle Hat while going to Cal Poly
San Luis Obispo, California until I joined MBPD.
However, I was still called Hoss both in and out of uniform. one of
these days when I run across an ole pix of me in uniform I'll post it...

by the bye ... I added Ole, cause there is only one OleHoss ... so
far....
