Chuck - When we get back I'll be happy to tell you what I know. Don't know of any other Masons on this newsgroup. A man named Rufus Cheney was Grand Lodge Secretary for many years early on and that may have something to do with it. The large building was originally an home for orphans of deseased Masons and later, of course, the Masonic and Eastern Star Home. Holbrook Lodge #30, AF & AM was chartered in 1860. The Grand Lodge Charter was received from Missouri in 1853. Oh, and is our computer up and running by now?
Cheers
John
