I gave the pilot a lot of credit for being smart enough not to kill the 
snake.
When you are startled or worse yet, scared, it takes a lot of courage not to 
lash out and destroy what ever has cause the fear. Especially if you have 
the power to do so.
I agree that snakes should be allowed to live on and control the small 
rodent population as well as spiders should be thrown outside to help 
control the insect population (especially mosquitos).

Isn't the Guam snake a transplant? Non native species don't get to run amuk 
and ruin other places in my book either.
