[Grovenet] Just joining....seeking story ideas.

I just met him this week. I had no idea he was
here in Forest Grove. I posted this earlier,
possibly before (perhaps) you joined the list.
These are beautiful saws he makes in the back
room of his home!

Lynn Magnor is now Chamber President. She and her
husband Andy run Miracle Sign Company. They
contribute so much to our community through their
sign business, and they live in a really historic
and interesting house. Their son works with them
- a real family business. Here's their website:

Gini Peterson is our city judge. To get the
position she beat out a galaxy of talented legal
folks, some of whom are here on Grovenet. How is
she doing in her new position? (What's it been -
two or three years now?)

Bud Bolden, with his white cap, has a corner on
laying bricks and concrete blocks. He's the dean
- professional, fair, and he does wonderful work.
I don't think I've ever read a story about him.

And what about our own Michael O'Brien. He's an
ex-mayor, sits on the library board, is a judge
and lawyer, but why does the guy do a website
devoted to the rutabaga? What possesses him
anyway? Have you seen the site?
