I know two women who are going to get married
this summer. Not a sanctioned by the state
marriage, but it will be done in a church here in
Oregon. It is important to them. They are
together, they love each other, they want to make
the same statement to the community that
heterosexuals make with the ceremony of marriage.
They want to live together in a committed union,
a marriage. The idea there is something wrong
about that is wrong itself. I can think of
nothing more right for these two women.
I hope you're right Katie. For whatever reason,
it can't come too soon.
