[Grovenet] A little more inconvenient truth . . .

Sorry, not understanding why you and David think
that *I* think we can't talk about global warming
on GNet while at the same time having a support
group with Jane off GNet!!!!
All I was saying is that there is a place for *support*
off GroveNet, which anyone here has to admit is
not a supportive place to *all.*

:I don't think anyone wants to transform Grovenet
: into a single issue list. Nor would we want to
: become some arm of a given church. Grovenet is
: certainly diverse - that's one of it's strengths.
:
:
: I may not understand you here Geri and David. If
: a group of folks wanted to have a discussion on
: such a topic as global warming, and form a
: definitive group to do that, where would such a
: group go? I'm unfamiliar with the options for
: such an endeavor.
:
: Also, I was not anticipating that a group such as
: Jane described as using much space. There might
: be an initial flurry of posts, but my guess is
: that it would be well within the normal traffic
: we experience here now.
:
: Looking at the other side of the coin, I cannot
: imagine Grovenet not accepting posts having to do
: with global warming per se. We can talk about any
: topic here, and we have covered a bunch of them!
:
: When I imagined Jane's group posting here, I did
: not anticipate that to stray much from what we
: already have. In no way shape or form would I
: want to be a party to harming grovenet.
