Somehow I didn't see the first question here (I'm more than a bit behind
this week) but I take it you need to get to the airport or some place
similar in Portland.
The Portland taxi man told me recently that it is $2 a mile or so.
Then I found an ad for a shuttle service in the yellow pages. He took me
from the train station to my house (west of Banks about 5 miles) for $40. I
don't remember the name but there were only 4 or 5 of them...and the one in
this story is based out of Aloha. He had "India" Indian heritage, was very
nice, and was more than prompt and flexible. You might give him a try.
