[Grovenet] Sirens?

I did and have no idea what was going on. But I agree it went on for a
long time and all over.

Anyone else hear the police sirens about 10:30 last night? They seemed
to go on for quite a while, and then they started up again about 6:00
this morning although for a shorter duration. 

Is there a way to find out what's going on without bothering the police
station? 

While we do live only a few blocks away, it is unusual to have so much
activity.
