I thought Cheney was pretty funny when he said that Kerry was for the joke before he was against it but 
this Ted Haggard thing is  the October surprise only a few days late.
Nothing like a big name evangelical admitting to possession of meth and swirling around with gay prostitutes to liven up the last few days of a campaign.
