Muriel,

Be glad that you weren't married while he was on tour.  The current  
crop of military wives don't have that luxury.

Even with a change in Congress, we will need a resolution in all of  
the military actions throughout the world.  Hopefully they will be  
ones that protect the interests of the nation, our citizens, our  
citizen-soldiers, and the weak in the world.

With some luck, we will go back to a Congress that has oversight of  
foreign policy, as intended when they were given that power by the  
Constitution.  Better oversight might have kept us focused on  
Afghanistan when we were first there, so that we could have that  
flank nailed down and a peaceful, working, recovering nation to show  
the world.  Something that we could advertise as an alternative to  
the Taliban.

As Ron often points out, "you broke it, you bought it".  America  
broke the peace in Iraq.
