Free speed is not the same as intellectual speech.
I listened to Dennis Miller's little movie filled analogy and couldn't find any analysis of a single thing that Nancy Pelosi has actually said or done other than pick up a gavel and not reverse the handle quick enough for his taste.  Hmmmm I guess if we are going to judge people by  1.5 second hand movements then we are rising to new lows.
Of course there were cute references to Nefertiti, her Channel clothes, cute inserts of black and white movies and how she weighs less than Hastert but all he could really muster was to call her names and a compare her to various fictional characters.

Of course Dennis gets high marks for cuteness and Hollywood references. But helpful/thoughtful/analytical don't seem to be in his writing standards.  He'll keep his job because it was entertaining (to some) and smarmy which audiences love and his network promotes.
All the intelligent working women out there will roll their eyes and wonder when females will be evaluated by their actual accomplishments instead of superficial nonsense.  For Dennis Miller it isn't this decade.  For all the guys out in la la land who have a hard time getting dates they might want to consider why they keep watching this guy.

She is a voice for things like implementing the 911 commission recommendations. She has said it a million times and it might get done with her as speaker.  Wow, something that actually makes us safer.  Hastert didn't have the strength to get it done so maybe we should start making comparisons on that level. Of course Miller might like to criticize her shoes instead because he probably wasn't listening when she said it.
