Which national model shall we follow? Some may be desirable, others
are pretty repugnant.

Union of South Africa from independence through the end of apartheid?

United States from independence through the Equal Rights Amendment?

Israel from independence to today?

Union of Soviet Socialist Republics at any time?

Peoples Republic of China at any time under Chairman Mao?

Nations have shown a remarkable willingness to marginalize whole
portions of their population for political and economic reasons.
This has lead to migrations as one method of avoiding the problem.
With a world government there are no second alternatives, nor
alternative models. This is inherently a serious limitation to a one
world government.

A world government might tackle issues of population, energy
consumption, pollution, private religion, personal choice, etc. Or
it might take the political approach taken by our current
administration.
