Steven, I enjoy a good laugh as much as anyone else, but I've never found
humor at someone else's expense funny.

Your comment is very disappointing. It's one thing to repeat a negative
story about someone you don't like. At the worst, it's simply a matter of
bad judgment. 

But it's something else entirely if you repeated something injurious about
someone that you knew to be a lie for any reason. Even if you thought it was
going to be somehow funny to others.

That's hateful and injurious. It's slander.

You don't owe Grovenet a heartfelt apology. You owe the apology to Senator
Clinton.
