Hello Marguerite, I am also new to grovnet and haven't quite gotten up to speed with everything yet, but welcome to the states. My children have enjoyed many wonderful years of education at a Waldorf inspired school in Hillsboro named Swallowtail. The school is curently K-8 and has many wonderful families involved and a number of dedicated teachers. I am sure your family will be a great contribution to the wonders of Forest Grove. Again welcome and enjoy!!! Dean.....

G'day Grovenet. I thought I better warn everyone that I'm on the list.
Short bio: Canadian, moved from Vancouver B.C. to Forest Grove in July 2004.
I've been reading the list over Steve's shoulder for a while (Steve Aarnio,
husband and significant other) and decided to subscribe. I am a lawyer by
profession, not called in Oregon (haven't written the Bar exam) and I'm
looking for a job.
We're *very* *slowly* remodeling our house at 17th and Cedar. We may get
around to fixing up the outside someday.
Son Alex is 4 and goes to Cornerstone Montessori in North Plains. Two pesky
cats, no dog till we get a fence.
I know some of you out there (hi, Martha!) and look forward to getting to
know more of you. Feel free to pester me with annoying personal questions or
political harangues about bleeding heart Canadian liberalism or whatever. I
may, in return, engage in some witty repartee, or most likely, probably
ignore you. :^)
Regards,
Marguerite Storbo
