[Grovenet] Sticks and stones . . . .

Remember, it was those nasty anti-war protesters who "lost" the Vietnam war
for us. Never mind that our forces were being run ragged all through jungles
of Vietnam. Never mind that the areas we controlled there were growing
smaller every year. Obviously it was those who didn't "support the troops"
(including many, many veterans) who were costing us the victory.

Fast-forward to 2007 and it's those questioning why not a single prediction
of President Bush's about the war and Iraq was correct who are "costing" the
US the "victory".

It's the last refuge of a desperate group - elected officials, their
appointees, and those who stand in the wings supporting them - to try to
blame the defeat on someone else.

>From what I see in the press, it's not working too well. Indeed, it looks
like Jeb Bush's political career may be over as well as a majority of the
American people realize we've been "bushwhacked" by that family.

The father's relative success in the White House led too many Americans
unsuspectingly open to the egregious incompetence of his children.

As a result, the whole country has suffered.

It is not a happy time for the Bush family.

Nor for Americans who love America.

Couldn't disagree with you more. Read David's comments on the three greatest
mistakes made by CheneyRumsfeldWolfowitz, et al., and weep, for they lost
the war before they started it!! And be sure to ask the 3400 some odd
soldiers and Marines dead, and the some 60,000 soldiers and Marines injured
and wounded and maimed, and the some 100,000 Iraqies and Afghanies and
others dead and injured whether we have already lost the war. It's just that
about 30 percent of our population is so intellectually dishonest that they
choose to ignore these facts (and that may include you Steven), just as they
choose to ignore many other facts!!

But they sure can help to loose it. Reid should shut his pie hole.
