[Grovenet] Holiday in the Grove

I'm just hoping we don't have to swim or row downtown this week.
Just saw that Forest Grove school district, along with Vernonia and Gaston, has cancelled classes for tomorrow. Does anyone know if any other time, like February of 1996 (we were living in Portland then), did they cancel classes due to rain/flooding?

Once the rain stops and the rivers recede, head downtown Forest Grove:
Catch First Wednesday with many shops open for business until 8:00
p.m. & an artist gallery on Main Street.
Thursday is the Holiday Light Parade starting on South Main Street at
6:30 and heading north through downtown.
Friday both wine shops have special pourings scheduled.
Saturday is a full day of events and sales at downtown shops and on
the streets as well. City Club is hosting a 'sleigh'(wagon) ride,
free with a canned food donation.
Check the First Wednesday flyer and the ad in last week's News-Times,
or look at tomorrow's Argus.
And, don't be confused, the Old College Hall Tea was last Saturday.
