not enough Hosstyle coffee yet!
 Now remember ... these amounts are only overnight, and a 24 hour total
for each previous day. 
I always dump the guage each day some time between 0600 and 0700 
However. if we get a significant cloudburst during the day ... I shall
make note of it.
