Actually, there are at least two sizes. There used
to be three. The 35 gal. size can be used for
smaller loads as you say. The 60 gal. size is
fixed, as far as I know.

They are all the same size, on the outside!!
But, our "small" can has a liner that only allows
it to be filled with half as much trash!

Yeah, it's possible I got connected to the wrong

was clueless but who pretended to know.
Still, it's strange. Living in old town I saw a
LOT of trash bins but never
one smaller than the 60 gal we got. Not a one, and
we used to walk the
neighborhood a lot, even on "la nuit du garbage"
when all the cans were out.
Must have noted hundreds of cans over the years,
all the same size.

As far as I know we have been getting ours for at
least 10 years!

Yes, it was the same size as the recycling bin,
which the office at WM said
was the "smallest available". I asked
specifically because ours was seldom
as much as 1/3 full on trash day.
I wonder how long the various sizes have been
available....?
Frustrating, since the two of us never needed
the big one.

Here's the answer, Geri.
Ours is the 35 gal. container. Ron's must be
like
yours, the 60 gal. container.
