With all respect Alan, I find it interesting that, as we start the process
of electing a President of the most dangerous, if not the most powerful,
country in the world today that you have a lot of company: there are many
who feel it's important not to discuss that choice publicly. 

I think it's a responsibility. 

And it's also a responsibility to understand and accept that there are those
who don't see things as I do. That's why public discussion is so important.

I haven't ever lost a friend discussing politics. I have discovered some
people who I thought were friends but who turned out not to be after all. 

Discovering that made life better for both of us. 

Let the good times roll <G>.

30 plus years ago while attending the police academy I learned two very
important things about life.  Never to talk politics or religion, for it is
the fastest wa to lose friends and make a lot of enemies. If people would
keep this in mind, the need roe up cops would lessen some, especially today
