Excellent point, David. I missed that. 

Can you imagine what would happen in the USA if everything made in China
cost at least five times what we pay today?

Did you notice that in many of the Asian countries the minimum wage  
was quite low, but the purchasing power was five times the nominal  
dollar value?  e.g China has a $.20 minimum wage that has $1  
purchasing power.  That suggests that our dollar is way over priced  
vs their currency.  Of course, that is why we owe them money and our  
jobs are going there, the dollar is too high to the yuan.
