Pacific University Professor Jules Boykoff will give a
talk about squelching dissent in the USA THIS
Wednesday, 1/10/07, 7 PM at the Forest Grove City
Auditorium, 1915 Main Steet, Forest Grove.

How do the government and mass media suppress dissent
in the U.S?  Professor Jules Boykoff will offer up
twelve actions the state and mass media take in order
to suppress dissent, providing specific examples from
US history to show how these methods of suppression
work in the real world.

The public is invited, the program is free and it is
sponsored by the Friends of the Forest Grove Library.
