[Grovenet] Light rail dollars

I was reading about the light rail project to FG. Cost $185M. I divided 
that by 25000 residents in the service area. Came up with $7400 each. If 
we each paid a dollar a ride, every day of the year, that would be 20 years.
What are their projected ridership numbers? What percentage of them are 
students going between FG and Hillsboro PU campuses? (this was mentioned 
in the article) And is Pacific interested in supplying funding for the 
project?
Seems like a lot of money to me to solve the problem of traffic 
sometimes slowing the buses into Hillsboro. I notice that most of the 
slowing comes from school buses dropping students while on TV hwy. Build 
better bus stops that trimet and school buses could use.
