[Grovenet] Our illustrious leader....

No. I saw that. That was one of the reports that convinced me the
administration is working on shifting the blame. Sure Iran is causing
trouble. So is Syria and probably half a dozen other countries. Iraq is a
rich price that is "up for grabs" as soon as we leave, and they've proven
that all they need do is shoot a few Americans and we're ready to pull our
people out and run home as quickly as we can.
We may not know it, but they know that Americans have the attention span of
a two-year old watching paint dry. They knew from day one that all they had
to do was hold out for a couple of years and we'd be ready to pull out,
leaving the country to the next tough guy to take over.
Only an idiot ever had the idea that a US-supported government in Baghdad
could stand up to that all by themselves. I simply don't buy our
administration being that stupid. Insisting that Iraq has a working
government was only in the first move in "shifting the blame" and then, so
those poor guys can struggle along, we're including Iran since we realize
now that we're going to have to paint them very black since they are
pursuing a nuclear program.

I guess you guys missed the interview on 60min and his speech a few days
ago.
He absolutely puts the blame on the Iraq PM for not doing what they
could to stop the violence in Iraq; and Iran for supplying and
supporting the violent factions.
