[Grovenet] Incident near Thatcher, Hillside and Buckley/Kemper?

Yes, from what I understand they caught the guy in a motor home in a barn
down the road a bit on Hillside.  After quite a few hours they got him with
the help of some tear-gas.  I still don't know all the circumstances and
couldn't find any information on the news.  It certainly was a bit scary
though.

The greenhouses have been filled with nursery plants lately.  Apparently the
tomatoes were not profitable enough.  I'd sure like to know how Canada
manages to produce so much of the produce that we get in the winter months.
Are their energy costs so much less than ours? 

On another note, some Gravenstein apples were available this year if you
knew who had them.  The previous year, there were virtually none.  It was a
very bad year because the trees went into bloom too early to be pollinated.
We also have a Gravenstein which is one of the finest apples around.

What A small world, the house on the corner of Thatcher & hillside... my
childhood home, is it still a tomato farm?
We had sold to a family who sold to the other people, I also have a
question, in that front yard we had a gravenstien apple tree........ why can
I not find them anywhere? I have fmaily back home looking so to send me some
but to no luck 
again what a small world! Did they find the person.

  Just wondering if anyone has any idea what is going on near the
  intersections of Thatcher, Hillside and Buckley / Kemper roads?  There are
  numerous police vehicles (at least eight vehicles).  Some have flashing
  lights and some have their lights off and are a ways away from the
  intersection
