[Grovenet] Fwd: quiz

Yeah. To me they seemed mostly nonsensical.
For example, I wouldn't trust the Pentagon to deliver my mail, but I
wouldn't trust the USPS to manage our military forces.
Then there are the questions such as "what is the better food, oranges or
apples?" only they express it as "Who was the better President, FDR or
Reagan?" Better? At what? Being human beings, they each had strengths and
weaknesses. Are we supposed to decide if FDR would have done well in
Reagan's place, or vice versa?
And, of course, America is BOTH a "melting pot" and a "multicultural
society".
There are a few questions that were very clear, such as "Should all
Americans be treated equally under the law?" only they phrased it as "Gays
and lesbians should be able to marry or at least be treated as married under
law if they so desire: Agree/Disagree". At least by phrasing that one in
terms that touches triggers in people's religious beliefs they were being
clear that the test is about one's biases and religious teachings.
Then there are the time-dated questions such as "The religious right is a
threat to our political system." It was. It was a threat to Iraq, too, as
Saddam found out. I don't think it's a threat to anything except perhaps
itself today...
So I quit playing the game <G>.

Tough questions. I disagree with all answers on many of those. *Which do you
trust more?* Trial Lawyers or Doctors? The executive branch or The
legislative branch?
