[Grovenet] Signing memos . . . . . . .

Who are we left with if we impeach George W? Not a pretty sight. We'd have to impeach both of them. And I can't see Congress getting enough support to bring up impeachment articles against GW, so we'll have at least 18 months of more deaths in Iraq . . . more billions pouring into Iraq . . . more assaults upon our natural resources . . . and on and on and on. I'm incredibly frustrated and bitter that not one of our elected officials can be a leader.

We don't have leaders. We just have elected officials who keep the government "machine" sputtering along.

We need someone with vision and strength to lead us out of the dark and into the light.

Ah, but the scary part is the American People SUPPORT the President's
attitude!

If they don't the President will be impeached. But I rather expect the
American people will say, 'Oh well...', let him serve out his term and
retire - hoping that no one will get the "message" that his behavior is
perfectly okay in the USA!

Then, of course, comes all the gnashing of teeth when the next crooked
President gets into office.

I see in the British Press that this is going on between Germany and Poland
again. Polish leaders are pointing out that the German people are ignoring
things in the Germany government that are not so unlike the 1930's, while
German leaders say, "Oh no! This isn't 1935...".

There was a popular song I bet many of us who have passed the half century
mark remember but few took seriously, even today. The refrain went, "...when
will they ever learn, when will they ever learn?..."
