No argument at all Allen! I'd be very concerned with the idea of a President
Cheney. We'd have to go for both of them for a good result if we convicted
President Bush of high crimes and removed him from office now.
Impeachment isn't removal. Impeachment isn't conviction.
Impeachment is an investigation and trial to determine the truth.
Can we afford to ignore the truth?
The stories today over the subpoenas to the White House for the wiretapping
investigation are a good sign.
I believe there is little else more important to our country than to learn
the truth of this administration so that the American people will have a
clear view of what has happened as they prepare to cast their ballots in
2008.

Who are we left with if we impeach George W? Not a pretty sight. We'd have
to impeach both of them. And I can't see Congress getting enough support to
bring up impeachment articles against GW, so we'll have at least 18 months
of more deaths in Iraq . . . more billions pouring into Iraq . . . more
assaults upon our natural resources . . . and on and on and on. I'm
incredibly frustrated and bitter that not one of our elected officials can
be a leader.
We don't have leaders. We just have elected officials who keep the
government "machine" sputtering along.
We need someone with vision and strength to lead us out of the dark and into
the light.
Frustrated in Forest Grove . . .
Allen
