Hi, Tom,

Well, I'm sure it varies according to where they are caught but I've never 
seen them on a list to avoid.   It's also true that mercury doesn't seem to 
accumulate in the bodies of the smaller fish, so a taste for sardines can be 
indulged at little or no risk to your health.
