Very true, Bud. I'm also part of the problem since I'm an independent. 

I'm as concerned about a bunch of left-wing extremists taking control as I
am about the right-wing extremists who have controlled the Republican party
for a number of years and our nation for the past six.

That's why I advocate more than two major parties. Maybe that's not the
solution, but it's the only one I've seen at work in the world so far.

Oversampling indicates they were having a hard time finding 
enough "self-identified Republicans"! That speaks volumes by itself. 

What should caution D's is that it would probably also be hard to 
find "self-identified Democrats." Fewer votes are accepting party labels 
these days.
