[Grovenet] Mother's Day Walk for Peace

For people who don't know, Julia Ward Howe tried to get Mother's day
recognized in 1870 as a Mother's Day for Peace.
It didn't fly at first and it wasn't until 1908 that it was celebrated in
one state. In 1914 Pres Wilson gave it national recognition.

I clearly remember when my first child was born I was watching the news and
there were reports about all of the conflicts around the world. I looked
into my child's eyes and I prayed that we would not be at war when he
reached draft age. But mother's prayers are not always answered and mine
were not. I plan on being at the march so that perhaps the mother who is
right now looking into her newborn's eyes, praying for the same thing, will
not be disappointed.
