[Grovenet] Come to the FG Library Used Book Sale

What:  

Friends of the Forest Grove Library Used Book Sale!

When:  

Thursday, 5/17/07:  Members only evening (only $5 to
be a member and $10 for a family)from 7 - 9 PM

Friday, 5/18/07: General public from 10 AM - 8 PM.

Saturday, 5/19/07: 10 AM - 3 PM - $5 for a bag of
books. Bring your own bag!

Where:  

In the newly renovated Roger's Room at the West end of
the library.  Please come in the new west entrance to
the library.

Why:

Since the city levy lost yesterday (about 42% voted so
we did not get the double majority needed even though
over 70% voted for the levy) we especially need folks
to come and buy books!  Funds made at the book sale go
towards things that the budget will not pay for like
summer children's programs and adult cultural programs
during the year and anything else the library needs.  

And we have lot of great books to sell!

If you'd like to VOLUNTEER to help, come by the
library tomorrow (Thurs) aftter 10 Am to help sort
books and put out on tables or come by on Saturday at
3 PM to help pack up.
