Alan, 
You certainly have my sympathy with this problem.   Acupuncture, however, is 
not just for the treatment of pain.   Acupuncture also reduces inflammation 
and promotes healing.

Believe me, Alan, it is OK with me if you are not interested.   I don't waste 
my time trying to change people's minds.   But you can't expect me to stand 
silently by when you are struggling with a difficult and seemingly interminable 
health problem and not at least make a suggestion.
