[Grovenet] The Iraqi View

Well put, Alan!!

If one is attacked, it's not surprising to see the person respond, even
lashing out in blind rage almost at random.

After 9/11, I think many Americans looked around for the enemy with a
terrible vengeance in our minds, and we looked to our elected leader for a
direction and action to take. President Bush directed that anger toward
Iraq.

America acted like a crazed mob who throws bricks through store windows in
frustrated anger. Iraq was our target of convenience and we pursued it --
until the adrenalin rush wore off.

Now we find ourselves in the embarrassing position of the guy after a
drunken brawl with a terrible hangover and facing the huge costs of what he
has done.

My view is this..... we should not of been there in the first place. I
don't think the Bush Government knows for sure who really was at fault in
the first place.
The U.S. People wanted someone to pay, for 911, so Bush picked on Iraqi
without the a true knowledge of who was at fault., and so far, as I see it,
the only ones who are paying for it ... is the People of he United States
with loss of life, our economy going to hell, and a president who ain't
worth a damn. Sure glad I never voted for the S.O.B. ~alan~
