[Grovenet] I guess I joined a lot of people today

I didn't think I would be in the news by doing what I just did but  
its on the radio and might be on TV soon.
What in the world did I just do?
I sent money to Moveon.org.  Not because I agree with everything they  
say but because they darn well have a right to say it.
Senators wasting valuable time tsk tsk tsking political discourse is  
just one more straw in the camels pack.

There must be lots of people who feel the same way because the  
reports are that they are setting records for the # of people who are  
joining in the last 24 hours and the amount of $ that they collect in  
a 24 hour period.  Amazing.

Free speech is a powerful tool and I'm happy to say it.  I might not  
ever give to them again but I'm glad that I did today.   Bush and his  
cronies will probably smear every Max Cleland every time they say  
anything opposing the war, he will call them traitors, unpatriotic,  
terrorist supporters and worse.  Then Bush will run crying to the  
senate every time somebody rhymes the names of military people who  
support this war.  Bush's tactics have not changed, but the people  
are getting sick of having a two faced president and we are willing  
to toss a few coins to groups who are finally calling him on things.
