TITLE:  ELECTION ’08: FROM FOX NEWS to FACEBOOK: How
to become a well-informed voter in the 24/7 news era.

WHEN:  Tuesday, April 22, 2008, 7 PM

WHERE: Forest Grove Community Auditorium, 1915 Main
Street, Forest Grove, OR 97116.

COST:  Open and free to the public

Sponsored by the Friends of the Forest Grove Library,
this event will feature the winners of an essay and
art contest at the Forest Grove High School on the
topic of media and politics.  There will be a panel
discussion comprised of Dr. Jim Moore, professor of
politics and government at Pacific University, Kari
Chisholm, editor and contributor for BlueOregon.com,
and Michelle Cole, a journalist for “The Oregonian”. 
Audience participation will be encouraged.
