The California Public Utilities Commission has had what some believe as an incestuous relationship with Calpine, the bankrupt energy company that sold the land and assets to LNG Development Company. Peter Hansen and Mohammed Alrai, CEOs of LNG Development, a.k.a. Oregon LNG and Oregon Pipeline, are former high-ranking employees of Calpine. The California Public Utilities Commission publishes a monthly report to its Board of Directors on the status of LNG terminals in Oregon. They approved most of Calpine's coal, oil, and gas projects in the past. In documents filed with the Fed. Energy Regulatory Commission, Peter Hansen outlines his weekly conversations with the California Public Utilities Commission. If this gas has little to do with California, why is he filing such documents under FERC document PF07-10? Why is he filing reports with the CA PUC on the status of LNG Developments terminals in Oregon? I have documents that establish links between officers of CA PUC and
Calpine printed out in my six large notebooks of documents and SEC filings. I just have to dig them out. I will try to scan those when I have time. I obtained them through the FOI Act. It may after the Rally. I'm working on that now.

A dramatic revelation by Sec. of State, Bill Bradbury right here in
FG, saying he's opposed to LNG and feels an LNG terminal anywhere
would take Oregon "180 degrees in the wrong direction" . Seems the
issues are no longer confined to advocacy groups and landowners, but
have entered State politics at the highest level. I'm attaching a pdf
file of the recent NewsTimes Article surrounding Bradbury's
announcement. Well written and thought provoking. There were also
articles in the Oregonian today. Now perhaps the issue will get the
exposure it deserves.

U.S. oil companies are reporting record profits even as motorists struggle to deal with the rising prices. Chevron Corp., ConocoPhillips Ltd. and ExxonMobil Corp. combined to earn more than $15.5 billion in the first three months of 2006.
