[Grovenet] First Wednesday, Feb 6 - Sweet Words (In the Heart of Forest Grove)

Sweet Words is the theme for the first First Wednesday of 2008.   
Downtown Forest Grove merchants will serve up confections and host  
local authors on Wednesday, February 6 from 5 - 8 p.m.  A list of  
scheduled authors, their recent work and host location are listed in  
the flyer available at participating merchants.

Chocolate truffles will be on hand along with other sweet treats,  
wine tasting from vineyards near far and the published works of local  
writers.  This is the 'kick off' for another year of First Wednesday  
events.

This is an event with appeal to all ages!  Participating businesses  
have First Wednesday specials in store special during the event.  A  
scavenger hunt starting at A Framer's Touch is sponsored by Sojourn  
Forest Grove with a 'sweet treat'  awarded to each participant and a  
chance to win a 'Sweet Words' gift basket.

First Wednesday is a monthly event sponsored by City Club of Forest  
Grove.  It is planned for the purpose of building community and  
promoting shopping and service business opportunities in Forest  
Grove's town center.
