Hi All,
Oaks are different than other trees in that they are dependent on the
weather conditions as to when they drop their leaves. When the
temperatures drop fast in the fall the leaves will drop at a faster
rate. This year we saw a more gradual lowering of temperatures along
with early rains causing the leaves on the oaks to stay around
longer. They will drop, although some will wait till the new ones
start to come out. Tom
I've noticed many oak trees in the area that still have their leaves.
