As my granddad used to say, "They might make something fool proof, but
they'll never make it da*n fool proof!"

I think he was referring to a tractor, but some things never change.

How many people have learned to do even a cursory cost/benefits analysis
before deciding to buy something?

Most people choose a computer like they choose their cars, their TV sets,
their clothes and even their spouses: by what others tell them is right. The
respond to what their buddy has, or what the ad says or some other random
input often without realizing it.

Then they grumble because their MAC won't run this or that program or that
their PC crashes for "no reason" (forgetting that they never saw a link to a
freeware program or some other download they didn't click on...). And virus
checkers? They're for wimps!

I thought folks like that were what gave you a steady income Chuck!
