What we (or at least, I) don't know is whether she has a High School
diploma. 

Clearly, to me at least, she should not. 

Clearly, to me at least, she probably does, or has a GED, from other
examples I've seen myself right in down town Forest Grove.

These many be very nice people.

They may be charming and as honest as enduring this President's tenure has
been long. 

But they are not prepared to function well in our society, or to make the
sort of decisions we entrust to our adult citizens.

The fact that we might use one of them for entertainment suggests a deep,
abiding sickness in our culture. 

This woman, like others I have met, have my deep, abiding sympathy. Their
plight makes me sad.

And, as much as I work to be respectful of other's opinions, I feel anger at
those who laugh at them. 

It's rather like laughing at a one-legged war veteran.
