[Grovenet] A honking big increase in the City fees . . . . .

You know . . . you're right!
But being serious, I do wonder why no notice was sent out to FG business owners about the proposal being discussed this evening. My wife never received notice and when we were working out at Power House Gym we were talking to the manager of Frye's who, after hearing about the meeting agenda item, was also puzzled as to why Frye's never received notification.
I know common sense and government can oftentimes be like same pole magnets, but I have to believe someone in our city government would be knowledgeable enough to ask the question of, "Have we informed business owners we'll be discussing this proposal? We haven't? Let's hold off discussion until after all have first been informed." This is why I always say that 99.99999% of all problems are due to either lack of communication, miscommunication, or the listening party misinterpreted the communication. I'll take a SWAG that their was a lack of complete communication, i.e. the agenda was published but nobody went the extra mile to inform the most affected party, that being biz owners. It would most certainly be very good to know.
Can't wait to hear what was discussed.

Hey Allen, that sounds like one of President Bush's speeches on Iraq!
