I have to disagree with you Steven. Go back and read Allen's 2nd
post or pull out your handy dandy constitution.
If Hill gets rid of the VP only, she can't just put Bill in because
Bill is forbidden from holding the office of VP by the 12 amendment.
(Its the last sentence of that long amendment if you want to find it
faster.)
The only way to test the theory is for Bill to make it into the line
of succession and then for everybody ahead of him to meet their demise.

At least the folks in city council aren't trying to down passenger
airplanes actively or passively.
