Lessons are usually available through local music stores.

contacts.

PS There is some controversy among guitar players about what age is  
appropriate to start guitar. The width of guitar neck can be  
difficult for small hands and the miniature guitars usually have  
tuning consistency problems up and down the neck. But in any case she  
will need a well constructed guitar so the strings sit very close to  
the fret board, so she can easily hold them down. Most parents want  
to start their kids on an inexpensive guitar which leads to  
frustration but if they have the money to get a really good quality  
one to start with it usually works better.
Sometimes the alternative is to start on a violin (easier to rent one  
too) with a much narrower neck and switch to guitar when your hands  
are bigger. The music teachers on the list will probably have more  
opinions as well.
