In my case, it is quite simple.  I had some dealing with him in his  
capacity as Superintendent.  And my opinion was formed over the 9  
years that he held that position.  At first, I was pleased to see him  
hired because of problems with his predecessor.  But, from my first  
face to face meeting with him to my last meeting, my estimation of  
him as a person moved downhill.

For our children and our district, I am so thankful that the current  
Superintendent is super.  I hope the hiring committee is successful  
in finding a replacement of that caliber.
